Menu: Phillies in the World Series Game 1!!!
My PhillyBoy is obviously very happy that the Phillies are in the World Series. What does that mean? Our friends are coming over for Game 1! While I am not the biggest sports fan, I am super excited that MY team (yes, I am a PhillyGirl too now) is in the World Series and even more excited that we are having a small party! Before the game sets, fans can now bet on sites such as https://daftarroulette.online/.
Since it is in the middle of the week and after dinnertime we are keeping it light and simple. You can use a menu like this for any tailgating party or football party such as during the time you purchased the Liverpool hospitality tickets.
I just asked PB what to call a “football party” and he just laughed and called me a little foreigner. I guess growing up as a first generation American does have its disadvantages!!!! Anyway, here is what we plan on serving at our baseball party:
Menu: Phillies in the World Series Game 1
Homemade guacamole and blue corn chips
Classic Margherita Pizza
Artichoke & Cheese Pizza
Whole Wheat Cheese Pizza
Whole Wheat Zucchini Pizza
Brownies (from a box)
Chocolate covered pretzels
Here is the plan:
Monday:
Make brownies & chocolate covered pretzels
Clean the house
Do all the grocery shopping for the party
Tuesday:
Make all the white pizza dough (PhillyBoy)
Make all the whole wheat pizza dough (RhodeyGirl)
Shred the mozzarella & clean the food processor
Retrieve the plastic plates, forks, and knives from the party bin & set out
Pull out extra chairs/ottomans/etc
Wednesday, during lunch:
Make the guacamole
Wednesday, after work:
Roll out the dough & cook the pizzas 90%
Wednesday right before people arrive:
Set out drinks, cups, ice
Set out brownies and chocolate covered pretzels
Heat the oven to finish off the pizzas
Set out the guacamole and chips
Have fun and pretend to watch the game ๐

What will you be serving as beverages?
Adam- Nothing special, whatever we have in the fridge and people bring (beer, wine, etc.)…. Is there something in particular we should have?!?!
and…. pomegranate vanillocktails hahaha
I love this. You totally have everything down to a tee and you are so organized.
I need to learn a lesson or two from you.

Good for you not taking the easy way out and ordering pizza. Much more nutritious and those flavors sound wonderful.
Enjoy your party!
While I cannot support your support of the Phillies, I can support a party with pizza that looks like pizza strips. ๐
Yum!! GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!! ๐
You are the BEST! You are definitely making up for the fact that we were in Rhode Island last year when the Phils won the World Series….go PHILS!!!!!!!!!
Love your schedule.. so organized you are!! Sounds fun…my sister -in-law lives in Ardmore and got tickets to the game.. she is stoked! Enjoy pretending to watch.. lol ๐
Your menu looks delicious – definitely ‘crowd pleasing’ fare ๐ I hope you enjoy the games, baseball is slow โ but the payoff can be great! Go Phillies! I’m going to the WS games in Philly and I can’t wait.
Josh is thrilled too! What a great menu- can we come over??
YUM!!! I want pizza ๐ Wish you lived closer!! Brownies are the 1 baked good that I have no problem using a box…esp if they’re Ghiradelli (sp?)
I have never been to a sports related party with such amazing food. Wow!
I hope your guests enjoyed everything…and the Phillies win in Game #1. Yay!!!
