  4. You make me want a pear in the worst way!

  5. I knew exactly what you are talking about when you mentioned the Mercato Centrale. I went to Florence as well and that particular market was the highlight of my trip. I even have a black and white photo of it on my fridge.

The San Fran Ferry Market reminded me of a European market as soon as I stepped foot inside.

The powerful scent of the lavender drew me in as well… i bet it made everything in your bag smell heavenly.

  6. You got your posts and pictures up so fast Sabrina! I’m like a week behind!!! Nice pictures from a nice camera! ๐Ÿ˜‰ It was nice meeting you. You are so full of life and enthusiasm… for Food! Hope to see you again next year!

Did you know that I actually do not like to eat pears – only in other things like salad.

Hangry Pants Heather- I swear if you tried these pears you wouldn’t be able to resist. I mean it! I have never tried anything more delicious!! (I must sound pear crazy ha!)

  11. I love all your pictures of the produce! I am the same way with farmers markets and such. Give me a grocery store over a mall any day!

  12. Sabrina, what a wonderful day! That farmers market is to die for!

My FIL is from Florence, Italy, and my husband spent summers there – his family lived near Ponte Vecchio – a famous bridge!

  13. Ah, so sad I missed the market…it looks amazing! I think it would be the best thing ever to just walk around every Saturday morning…Aaah….
