  8. I want to go on your trip too!!! The food must be amazing…some of my favorite! I’ll have to try this, I always crave mint when my stomach isn’t all that great.

  9. What a fun trip that will be! My favorite thing in tea is a little bit of honey. I like it to be a tad sweet. πŸ™‚

  10. Love mint tea, and I also love the simplicity of your recipes. IMO not need to get too complicated in the kitchen, as I read Mastering The Art of French Cooking, hah.

Your trip sounds like it will be amazing.

  11. I wish I had a mint leaf with me right now! I’ve been out of my Green Tea Morcoccan Mint and I swear I’m having withdrawls! πŸ™‚ It is my absoulute favorite.

  12. How lovely. The Jordan picture is amazing and that is so exciting you go this summer! With family, friends, or both??

  13. I just watched an episode of something or other supernatural and they were at Petra. It was very interesting. Anyway, I am with you on the Mint tea. I absolutely LOVE it.!

I can`t wait to try this, I love mint tea! Especially after a big meal πŸ™‚

  15. This tea sounds so refreshing, even for a hot day! I just realized I never told you what was in my salad after looking at all those salad beauties, I didn’t even think to! and my presentation isn’t as close to pretty, but that’s how it gets to work, so I guess it’s ok πŸ™‚

Sabrina, your dad invented the saudi champagne….sparkling water and apple juice

  17. Hi Sabrina!

I’ve been reading your blog for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I really admire your food philosophy and the emphasis you place on preparing local, seasonal, and organic foods. Last year, I wrote a paper for grad school on the importance of buying locally grown organic food (I posted it on my blog just recently).

Also, I had a feeling you were part Middle Eastern! (do you speak any Arabic?) It seems that we have a lot in common. πŸ™‚ I am Egyptian and can definitely appreciate good black tea with mint – in fact, it’s on of my favorite hot drinks. πŸ˜‰ (My parents have the really good dried mint at home – they get it from the Arabic store in the church). I’d love to see some Jordanian recipes if you have any (I keep hearing about ‘mansaf’ but I’ve never had it…)

By the way, my husband knows PhillyBoy from Princeton. That’s how I got to see your blog! πŸ™‚ I’ll be stopping by on your site often, and hopefully I’ll get to meet you at some point maybe when we visit Sherif’s family in the Philly area!

    • @Heba @ My Life in a Pyramid, Hi! Nice to meet you! Hope to meet you in person some time. Thank you so much for your comment! I speak very little Arabic- mansaf is a true Jordanian dish but I still have not learned how to make it! I did post my vegetarian grape leaves recipe though… I will work on posting a few more Middle Eastern ones! PB has mentioned Sherif before! Hope to meet you both!

  18. Hi Sabrina!

I love your site, so much so that we featured it in a recent article on growing a tea garden for PhillyVoice, where I am a staff writer.
