  1. oh goodness! Your poor hands! Burns are the worst. Hope the heal quick

  2. There’s that old saying that “bad things happen in 3’s.” I hope everything goes much better now!

  3. Things always happen in 3’s. It’s true! Here’s to an accident free day today.

  4. oh no! i hope your skin is ok…those accidents sound painful!

  5. Wow! Glad you’re well enough to still type with those hot fingers. Maybe you were just getting all your bad luck out in one night? In that case, buy a lottery ticket next week ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. You sound like me, story of my life!!! I do number one all too often. Those burns are not fun:-( Put bacetracin on it!

  7. i have done that with a hot pan before. owww! hang in there. and have a great weekend! <3

  8. I’ve grabbed a hot pan before! In fact that same night I grabbed the handles of a pot (I was making pasta) and burned the same hand! I am no longer allowed to multi-task in the kitchen.

Wow, that’s awful RG!! I did the exact same thing (accident #1 earlier this week). Must have been something in (just) my wine too. Hope it heals VERY fast.

  10. Ouch! I’ve done that a few times, but not so badly that it’s hurting the next day. :/

  11. Yeah unfortunately things happen to me in threes too. I am ALWAYS burning myself in the kitchen. As a result my hands are becoming less and less sensitive to the heat, not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.

Too bad on the wine glass as well. I swear I’m always breaking them (the stems are so fragile) so I finally decided to buy a ton of inexpensive wine glasses (Yay Ikea.). I like having pretty ones but I’ve decided the inexpensive ones are much more practical for entertaining and everyday drinking. I still pull out the pretty ones on occasion, but knowing that if the wine glasses (or anything else for that matter) breaks it’s not a big deal makes me less stressed out when I entertain.

  12. Totally sounds like something I would do ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. I burn myself aaaaall the time in the kitchen. My Mom tells me my Grandpa used to say that a good cook always gets burned ๐Ÿ™‚ haha I think it was to make my Mom feel better when she did.

At our New Year’s Eve party I burned slider buns, I forget there were in the oven in the broiler, and there were huge flames literally inside my oven. I froze, my Husband had to come and put them out, haha.

  14. I only Klutz-Out when I’m pregnant. Otherwise I have no excuse!

Hope you’re feeling more balanced soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Oh no! Burning your hand while cooking/being near the stove is awful, and tends to happen too often. I’ve definitely burned a hole through an oven mit or two… ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. OUCH! That sounds awful… Hope the burns heal quickly. We too do the house blessings with the incense, though it’s been a while since I’ve been to one of these ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. Oh gracious, this sounds like a list of things I would do (and have done except for the charcoal one).

  18. Wow! But you sound surprisingly upbeat about it all so I guess the night was a success? :0
