Highlights from Taste of the Nation Philly 2011
Leslie and I had a fabulous evening tasting foods from some of Philadelphia’s hottest restaurants- all for such an incredible cause (read more about Taste of the Nation here).
My top 3 tastes were:
3-Ristorante Panorama‘s crunchy truffle-porcini risotto lollipop. Leslie loved it too until I told her it was MUSHROOMS (her arch nemesis).
2- A Cupcake Wonderland‘s dark chocolate cupcake. They also had an orange cupcake that was light and fresh. I loved both!
1- Davio’s key lime pie. It was tangy and creamy with a touch of crunch on the bottom- perfect for the summer!
I’ll let the rest of the photos speak for themselves – enjoy!
Can’t wait for next year where I’ll get to enjoy the cocktails! We have some talented mixologists in Philly.
