Armenia in 1 photo
We loved our trip to Armenia. The plane ride went great, the schedule went out the window, and Raffi was the clear mascot of the week.
This photo sums up the trip in one shot. He’s happy, waving, and independent. There was not enough room for the crib in our hotel room so he ended up in bed with us every night. We had a party in the middle of the night, with a little one grabbing one nose then another – back and forth and back and forth. There were lots of giggles and smiles. We woke Raffi up around 9 at night and went out for late dinners on the town. We toured and Raffi saw all the biggest sites. In fact he crawled and climbed all over them. I was more laid back as a parent than I’ve ever been, and it was so fun.
Now we’re home, and Raffi has a serious case of separation anxiety. He wants mamma and baba around all the time. I don’t blame him.; we are fun. The 3 of us are finally back to our normal sleep schedule, and thanks to my husband’s madness we were unpacked within 2 hours of arriving at home. The house is also clean as can be.
We aren’t just sitting around though. Raffi is exploring the pool, beach, and more every day. Today it’s super hot so we are off to the art museum with his little buddy in the morning, then we’ll head to the pool later!
I love this summer.
What an amazing photo!! Love it, frame for sure.
When we got back from our vacation Lyle did not want to leave us either. And he cried yesterday morning when Greg went away for business. It’s no fun. But like you said, we’re keeping him busy and trying to keep him happy!
what an amazing trip and fun summer! i love that you’re enjoying being a parent more and more every day – makes me so excited to keep watching Raffi grow up!
