Win! Ninja Cooking System
UPDATE: Thank you for all your entries! Boy did you put me to work. It was hard work putting together the list of entries since some of you tweeted and then came and told me and others just tweeted. Such confusion! Anyway, I finally put together the super long list of entries (over 300!) and the winner is Jen with the following comment:

I would make my mom’s chicken and rice recipe. It usually takes hours in the oven, but I think the Ninja would be a perfect, easier alternative.
Congratulations! Expect an email from me right now.
If I don’t hear from the winner in a week I will redraw the winner. Thank you to all who entered, and happy holidays!

This is one of those times that I can say something has changed my life.
The Ninja Cooking System has changed my cooking life.
A few weeks ago I attended an event with Stephanie O’Dea, of slow cooker fame, where we learned all about the Ninja Cooking System. It has 3 settings – stovetop, slow cooker, and oven. You can make dinner literally all in one pot while you’re out running errands or taking you kid to the playground for the 5th time that week.
Here’s why I love my Ninja:
1. You can move from one setting to another seamlessly so you only have one pot to clean at the end. I made a soup that required softening onions, so I softened them on the stovetop setting before adding the other ingredients and switching the Ninja to the slow cooker setting. I then left all day to have fun with Raffi.
2. You can cut half the fat in most baking recipes since the baking is steam infused. The result is a moist cake without all the fat. We tried some delicious chocolate cake at the event and I couldn’t believe how moist it was.
3. When your meal is done cooking, the system automatically switches to keep the food at a safe temperature.
Bonus: I can make perfectly crisp bacon every time. I don’t know why, but for some reason the Ninja makes the best bacon.
The very first dish I made in my Ninja is a whole chicken with potatoes and onions. It was so easy. I layered thick slices of potato on the bottom, topped it with a spice rubbed chicken, arranged the onions around it and left the Ninja on the slow cooker medium setting for a few hours. I was nervous that it wouldn’t turn out, but it was incredible. The chicken fell off the bones and was so juicy. The potatoes were flavorful and tasted the way I remembered my mom’s potatoes to taste. I wish I had more descriptive words, but the easiest way to explain it is that it tasted like the memory of home cooking without any work at all.
I took about 100 photos of that delicious feast, but of course I can’t find them in the sea of Raffi photos.
That night I took all the chicken bones, some leftover onions and a lot of water and threw them in the Ninja on the slow cooker low setting. In the morning I woke up to the aroma of fresh chicken broth. With a quick strain and skim dinner for that night was done – I just had to the add the tortellini to the broth to make our tortellini soup. I love that the Ninja allowed me to make a completely different meal without having to stick around my kitchen all day.
I had a regular slow cooker years ago and I never used it. Actually, I used it once but that was it. It was a pain to sear my meat in one pot, put it in the slow cooker and end up with 2 things to clean.
I won’t use the Ninja Cooking System every night because let’s face it – sometimes I like to stand over a pot and stir for an hour. However, I know I will continue to use it at least once a week when I have a busy day and want to have a hot fresh meal on the table at night.
I’m really excited that I was given the opportunity to check out the Ninja cooking system and am excited to share it with one of you too.

What a fantastic product! I think I would make beef stew first. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
I would make chili and then possible bake something in it, since I am a horrible baker. Looks like a great product!
For some reason pork intimidates me but I would without a doubt try to cook pork and roasted peppers with lots and lots of garlic….. this dish always brings back the best memories of my grandfather! My grandfather used to make the best pork sandwiches with roasted peppers and he would always make sure the rolls were picked up first thing in the morning at a tiny mom and pop Italian bakery. If I could make a juicy roast pork I know I’d make him proud!!
After reading about your chicken dinner I would love to make that the first meal I cook.
I would make roast beef with root vegetables!!!
