  1. Unfortunately I don’t have any tips having never ran one myself, but my husband has ran 3 and I know what you’re talking about!

  2. I love the taper for a marathon! I realize I am alone in this, but I take it as a full opportunity to really focus on rest, mentally and physically. By the time the big day comes, I am SO pumped with fresh legs.

  3. Aw PB! It will be over soon! And I’m sure that gnocchi will make it allll better 🙂

  4. Omg tapering for a marathon is BRUTAL! You feel all out of it and weird after four months of training. I remember the feelings all too well.

Just tell him this is ALL NORMAL (I think Runners World had a great article on it in one of their 2010 fall issues – September maybe?) and his body is doing what it’s supposed to 🙂

  5. oh dear i know NADA about marathons. but i do know rittenhouse square when i see it. am i right?! or maybe not. maybe i know nothing about marathons AND philly.

@lynn @ the actors diet, I guess you know nothing about Philly hahahaha. We were actually in NYC, but I can’t remember the name of that park!!!

It was So nice meeting you on the elevator, and I wish we had had the opportunity to chat more! I guess there is always next time!!!

  6. Not much you can do but breathe and relax. Eat healthy, enjoy yourself. Limit sugar, it makes you crabbier! See you in ONE WEEK!

  7. I’ve never ran a marathon, but maybe getting a massage would help.
The gnocchi sounds great….this is the third time I’ve read and seen gnocchi today and I have yet to try it. I think it’s calling my name:)

  8. haha. PB is too funny. I have never ran a race that long, but I know he will rock it and his PMS’ing will be over soon 🙂

  9. Hi! Just reading this now! I’m experiencing all the same symptoms 🙁 It’s crazy. Plus I’m just an emotional wreck in general haha. I think my friends and family are itching for this to be over for me!!
