5 Foodie Pet Peeves
1. I hate it when people cook pasta and just put the sauce on top instead of quickly tossing it all together. Don’t they know that the dish will taste so much better if they toss it together so that the sauce flavors every noodle? And so that the pasta doesn’t stick all together? Blech. Further, pasta should always, always be cooked al dente. No one wants mushy pasta!
2. I’m over the super natural peanut butter. I just can’t force myself to eat it anymore. I now eat Skippy natural creamy peanut butter and my life is better because of it.
3. Polenta should not come out of a tube. It’s just unnatural. It takes less than 15 minutes to make polenta from scratch, and the taste can not be matched by a gooey like substance out of a tube.
4. I hate it when my food touches. Seriously. Each part of a meal must be separate, and if there is any chance of the foods mixing I use separate plates. I realize this is a bit over the top, but I can’t help it.
5. Servers at restaurants should not take away any plates until everyone at the table has finished eating. How do so many servers not know this?
Now, your turn. What are your foodie pet peeves?
